The Minamillumi Shinjuku South Illumination event is held in the Shinjuku South Exit area. Visitors can enjoy a variety of light displays with the theme, "What Lies Beyond the Sparkle."
Starting from the New South Gate of JR Shinjuku Station, a corridor of lights will connect the promenade of Shinjuku Southern Terrace, Shinjuku Maynds Tower, and Takashimaya Times Square.
Also, for the first time this year, an interactive illumination (Wing Illumination) which lights up when you wave your hand over it, will be available.

Yomiuri-Land-mae

Expressing Love with Light/One of the Largest Illuminations in the Tokyo Area Yomiuriland Jewellumination LIGHT is LOVE

Jewellumination uses LED bulbs inspired by the colors of jewels, and is something only seen at Yomiuriland.
The new "Earth Blue Jewelry Colors" include the bright blues of jewels such as aquamarine and sapphire, which also evoke the clear waters of the sea.
This year's theme is "LIGHT is LOVE." Yomiuriland uses light to symbolize the great love that embraces people, nature, and the entire earth.
It is one of the few scenic spots where you can enjoy night views of Tokyo's tourist spots, including "Tokyo Skytree" and "Tokyo Tower," and other attractions such as the Ferris wheel.
The harmony between Tokyo's night view and the Jewellumination lights display is a unique brilliance of Yomiuriland. Of course, you can also enjoy various attractions!

Enoshima

Jewels of Shonan/One of the Three Major Illumination Events in the Kanto Region

In addition to the island of Enoshima, the entire area up to Katase Beach is decorated with a variety of lights and colors.
Starting with the light-up of the Enoshima Sea Candle, the entire island of Enoshima will be illuminated, including Enoshima Samuel Cocking Garden, Enoshima Shrine, Iwaya Caves, and Enoshima Yacht Harbor. The jewel-like, translucent illuminations are a must-see, proof being their consideration as one of the “Three Major Illumination Events in the Kanto Region” and as a “Night View Heritage of Japan,” among others.
There are many souvenir shops, restaurants, and stylish cafes on the island. It's a spot where visitors can enjoy a full day of fun, from dining and shopping in the daytime to watching the sun set over the Shonan sea in the evening, and finally, viewing the illuminations at night.
