01.Limited Express Romancecar

The Romancecar is a convenient way to travel from Shinjuku to Hakone. It takes about 80 minutes to go directly from Shinjuku to Hakone-Yumoto. 02.Hakone Shrine

Hakone Shrine is one of the must-visit landmarks in Hakone. Founded in the Nara period (757 AD), it enshrines three deities known as "Hakone-no-Okami." By the nearby lake, there stands a large torii gate known as the "Torii of Peace", appearing to float on Lake Ashi, evoking a sense of reverence in those who behold it.

Enoshima Shrine is one of Japan’s three great shrines dedicated to Benzaiten, the goddess of wealth, love, and success. It is said to bring blessings for romance, prosperity, and good fortune in work, so be sure to pay a visit—you might find your luck improving!

After visiting the shrine, stroll down the historic Benzaiten Nakamise Street. The lively shopping street is lined with local food stalls and souvenir shops, offering plenty of delicious treats you’ll want to try and photogenic spots to capture.

05.Enoshima Sea Candle at Sunset Time

Enoshima Sea Candle, a symbol of Shonan, is a perfect spot to enjoy the beautiful views of Enoshima at sunset. On clear days, you might even see Mount Fuji! Enoshima Sea Candle also hosts events throughout the seasons featuring beautiful lanterns and candles.

About 3 minutes up by cable car, you’ll find Oyama-dera Temple, a historic temple founded in 755. It has long been a sacred place for worshippers and travelers since the Edo period. Especially during autumn foliage season, the area is bustling with visitors.

04.Oyama Afuri-jinja Shrine Shimosha

Afuri-jinja Shrine has long been a sacred site for prayers for rain and safe harvests. The view from the shrine, overlooking Sagami Bay, is breathtaking. The shrine has also received two stars in the Michelin Green Guide Japan for its impressive scenery.

Every year, 1000 cherry blossom trees of 65 different varieties bloom on the grounds of Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden. In April, multiple varieties can be enjoyed in bloom simultaneously for an extended period. During the season of Yoshino and double-flowered cherry blossoms, the Garden is open daily as a special spring attraction. Please be aware that bringing alcohol onto the grounds is not allowed, and the use of various sports equipment is prohibited.
