Service Area Guide
We provide free Wi-Fi “ODAKYU HAKONE FREE Wi-Fi” at ticket gates and bus stops across eight locations including Hakone-Yumoto Station. Domestic and international visitors to Hakone can enjoy high-speed, comfortable internet access.
If you download the dedicated app before your trip, you can automatically connect to more than 20,000 Wi-Fi service points nationwide (as of January 2025).

How to connect without using the app
- From your device’s [Settings], turn on Wi-Fi and select Odakyu_Free_Wi-Fi.
- When you launch your device’s browser, the Free Wi-Fi connection screen will appear. Please select [Connect to the Internet].
*If the connection screen doesn’t appear, access a webpage from your bookmarks and it will be displayed.
- The “Free Wi-Fi Service Terms of Use” will be displayed. After reviewing the content, select [Agree].
- Connection to the Free Wi-Fi service will be completed, and a webpage appropriate for your current location will be displayed.
*Even within the target areas, you may not be able to connect due to signal conditions, maintenance, etc.
*There is no limit to the number of uses; you can use it unlimited times.
